Screens, Screen Making, Inks, and Dot Placement > 4 Color Process
Process print From Last Week
(1/1)
Lux Inks:
Hey all.
We printed this last week using 4-color process. This is a print for a local clothing company out of Laguna Beach.
The original art was painted using water color. The piece is Black Sabbath inspired therefore this tee design is called "Sabbath".
We used 355 mesh on all screens with a solid flood and a fairly quick squeegie.
I really like this garment because it reminds me of all of the concert shirts when I was a kid. Plus I'm a big Black Sabbath fan.
Thanks,
Paul
p.s. We did a strike off on an ash shirt and it looked pretty good. (no under base)

That came out nice. Good work.

Nice print.

It has become much more economical in modern printing to use CMYK colors to overprint (blend colors on the page) to create the full spectrum of color without having to load the press with a custom or Pantone ink.
