alternative to Brother's ink for the GT-541
« on: October 22, 2009, 12:11:41 PM »
One of my contract customers has this printer, and Brother tells him that they can't ship what he needs until the end of the month. I'm figuring this is the place to find out. Of course, it should be compatible, and not screw up his machine, but lower cost is not important, getting ink is what he needs most. Thanks,

Steve

He needs to call some of the distributors. Try direct2shirt.com or sewingmachine.com

They keep stock.

It's custom ink, manufactured by Brother, or at least my understanding is the outside of the building says Brother.

It is definitely not DuPont ink. Sawgrass does have a Brother Ink that works. Contact EquipmentZone.com as I think they have it in stock.
