Can you screen printing overtop of garment that have been pre-treated for DTG without any issues?  If pre-treat helps bond the inks to garments, would it then be ok to print on them without washing the pre treat out before you print on them? Just curious. Need to switch over on a job and want to use the same shirts.

Hello!!

I discussed this with Ray Smith, Wilflex Application Engineer. He stated that his contact/sources, tell him there should not be a problem.

Have a wonderful day!

It's true. No issues with bonding of traditional screen print over top of garments that have been pre-treated with Digital DTG pre-treat chemicals.

I will also note here, that I have read that people are trying to print 50/50's and with some decent results.
My experience is that I've tried to make sure I use the proper pre-treat and to take all of the necessary extra steps and still, I had an order com back where the inks both fading and pealing off. I will not attempt the 50/50's any more.
