Just down load the TES viewer and install no need to be a barudan owner.

Hey Johnny, I think you might be talking about Magic View. It's not around any more but I used to use it all the time.
Some of our contract clients used to use it so they could look at the embroidery files without having embroidery software.

I think that was it.

You guys will laugh at this.

I have 3 barudans that I hardly ever cut on anymore. I sub all the emb and tapes out.

Had a RUSH on 180 hats so I am doing them here this weekend.

My tape guy took 4 times to get it right...you know India...

My software is on a OLD 6100 Mac.

It is Powerstitch, I know most of you don't know it or were not around in the mid 80's and it was 12k back then.

3.5, 720 dos disks and none of the drives wanted to work.

So knowing it would be no place in town to find a 3.5 head cleaner, I just used a used reg 3.5 and poured alcohol in it...it worked.

You barudan guys might remember the blue box EMCII it did not want to work either.

To tell ya how long ago that was...I originally got a paper tape reader with my machine and replaced it with a disk drive with a 9600 baud modem with 5 in and out cables...back then state of the art. :p

Finally got it all to work and broke a needle and for the FIRST time ever it marked the hoop, hook, what ever it is called.

I could go on and on as all the problems took 24 hours to fix.

I guess these things are like cars...the worst thing you can do is let them sit. :o

A 6100?  What, no MacPlus? (1 meg of RAM, and a 20 MB external hard drive)

Steve

I did start out with a 2 floppy SE.

I was on top of the world when I got the Ext. 20meg HD.

It was half as big as the computer.

And thought I was somebody when I was the first in the South East to buy the first software make for screen printers. "Vital Draw" had people from all over come in to see it and was featured in an Impressions ad.

Man how things have changed.

Stayed some Mac to the G4's and because of cost and what my customers used went to the dreaded PC.
