L bar Sealer

I have an old L bar sealer. We do a little bagging. The hot wire broke. Anybody have any wire? The company wants to sell me a 50 foot roll, although understandable, I need 50 inches.

Not sure it will work for you but I have used nickle chrome fishing leader wire before in a foam cutter.

Also not sure what diameter wire you need but here is a good cheep list for nichrome wire.

10 to 1 it is Nichrome wire. If it is about the thickness of a paper clip then it is probably 0.040" 18 gauge wire. Here is a link to some. It is a 50 foot roll but it is only 12 bucks.
