Got 3 events in a row.

Well as usual I am last minute on getting ready for a event tomorrow morning that we will be printing on site at. Then after this one I have two more over the following two weekends.

The one we are doing tomorrow will be 4 color process. The art is not that great in my opinion but they insisted that the design have a picture of last years winner and they sent me a low res photo with a lot of background stuff in it that I had to clean out. Personally I do not like using actual photos they take of cars as the main element in the design but it is what they want.

If I remember I will take my vid camera and shoot some video.

Ok, time to got burn screens.

Man I would love to see some videos of how you do this on site. Do you just setup under a tent or something and how do you cure the shirts?

Preston has a 6 color press and a conveyer dryer in a trailer that he takes to these events. Pretty good set up and portable.

Well, as usual...  Last minute on getting the art done.

Here is the one for this weekend. Keep in mind, I am not an artist...so it takes me awhile to do these.




If it was not 2:40 in the morning I would tell you how to do that big halftone dot stuff in Corel. I will make a tut on it later.

Side Note.. While at the show last weekend we picked up another show for the 15th of October.

It is a niche market that is basically wide open. There are very few that do the on-site printing for events. So, yes, with hard work getting yourself known and letting people wonk what you do you can make a decent amount doing it. The only draw back is it is seasonal unless you find other venues beside bike and car shows.

I guess it really depends on how much you want to make and how hard you are willing to work for it.

Short vid as I was busy printing a lot. Not much on the actual t-shirt stuff. Sorry no steady cam rig.

But we had a good day and made a lot of scratch.

The last car is a $138,000.00 Tesla that belongs to a guy we know.

The Pattison show. Still no steady cam but I may build one. The guy printing is my daughters boy friend and this is the first time he has ever printed shirts. Naturally he is slow so when the line stacked up I would step in and knock them out. The shot of the tire is how one of my trailer tires looked when I got there.

Design was a 5 color. White, Modified/Tinted Blazer, Gray, Red and Black. All regular plastisol, 305 screens, wet on wet.
