I thought it was "Friendswood". But I guess it is Friends Mission in Friendswood. Shows how long it has been since I sent you the flyer.

Looks good anyway.

it's ALL in the art. Printing isn't hard. trial and error. Art can be difficult.

I think the camera is doing this print alot of justice... I think it is too dark in natural light. I am tweaking the curves and going to burn some different screens. I'm also removing the bevel off the Oreilly logo.. I'll post round two.

I think you're going to have a hard time selling those.

They're printed sideways.   :>i

The way this works is the event coordinators give the shirts to the car registrants as part of their registration package. Some event give them to all registrants and some to the first 100 or so. They give them a ticket that they bring to the mobile print shop and then a shirt is printed on the spot for them. At the end of the show you hand the event people an invoice for all the shirts printed and they give you a check. Given all of that it would not make a difference if he printed them upside down except he may not get invited back next year.

This was actually an event they contacted me about but I was already booked for that day so I passed it on to Daryl. The funny thing is we will be passing each other on the freeway that day. I will be going a little west of his shop and he will be coming down close to mine.

This even t printing seems to be more popular out west, I have had 1 person in 10 years call and ask if we do on site printing. There is a shop that does but they are about an hour away from me. I can't see the harm in looking into it. If I can clear a few bucks in a days work, may be worth looking into. It seems like car shows are the way to go huh? We don't have too many of those here. Maybe a sports event. . .

New Buffalo does it too but they have a friggen big rig with an auto built into it.

You can usually get retail prices for the shirt also. If it's a charity type function I still make more than if I printed it at the shop + I get the donation for the discounted part off the retail price.

I need one of those semi's with an auto in it...screw that I need to train some people to print and I'll lollygag around the show.

Much better. I also changed "benefitting" although spelled correctly either way...this way bugged my wife less.

There are car shows in MD almost every weekend.  My cousin (also a customer) puts his old GMC truck in them and passes out shirts about his business.  I print the shirts - he passes them out and its a win win.

He did ask if I was interested in selling some shirts at a car show.
