The Who SUCKED mega nuts at halftime. Although I was happy to see the nursing home let the boys out to play a show. that was nice of them.

The halftime shows having been going downhill since Janet Jackson had the wardrobe malfunction.

The Stones suck....they had like 2 good songs.

Hrumph..! I'm one of the good Brits though, the type that knows Americans arent idiots! I'm always sticking up for you guys, its kindof fashionable over here to talk rubbish about Yanks, but whenever people start ragging on the Yanks I'm there banging the gong for you! so... LETS HEAR IT FOR THE WHO!

Hold on there... I am an American because I live in North America. But first and foremost I am a Texan and I have never been nor will I ever be a Yank.

Now that we have cleared the air about grouping me in with the term "yank", I grew up in the era of the greatest bands that have ever existed. A few of the newer ones since then have come close but most have most have fallen way short of anything that came about during the 60's and 70's. It did not mater where they came from as most all of them were great. The test and proof is in the staying power these groups had/have along with the staying power of their music.

Most of the groups these days last only a few years and their music is forgotten within a decade. In the 60's and 70's the groups had something to say. Their music spoke to the souls not only of that generation but for generations to come. Like Eddie Wilson said to an aspiring lead guitarist, "when you can hear the music in the silence, then your music will have something to say and will be great. It is all about the music."

Motown has become Raptown, time to bury that place and put us out of our misery.

And Country music sucks....Good thing they learned how to steal the concept of music from the old rockers or Nashville would be Ghostville.
