how do you get a bigger print size with an M & R Sportsman?
« on: February 19, 2010, 08:47:11 PM »
I'm looking for a way to get some additional print size from our sportsman. currently, we can print about 14" tall, I'm looking to get 18 - 20" tall. Are there any suggestions on modifications that can be made to accommodate something like this on an as needed basis?

I'd like to print oversize prints without having to put them on the manual press....

thanks!

You don't.

Without some serious (cutting/fabrication/welding, etc) modification
you can't extend the print stroke. It is what it is.

Print width, yes, stroke, no.

The Sportsman's rated print length is 18", and some customers are able to squeak out even a bit more than that. Doing so requires the proper screen length, image location and squeegee and floodbar angle.

What screen size are you using?
